Official WSDC Registry Rules
Austin Rocks will adhere to all contemporaneous WSDC Rules mandated by the WSDC Board at the time of the event.

WSDC Petitions To Move Up
All petitions to "Dance Up" must be submitted online to the WSDC Chief Judges Committee (CJC) using this link: www.worldsdc.com/level-up-petition/.

The CJC reviews your registry record and submitted videos, notifying you within three (3) weeks of submission. Approved petitions allow you to dance up for six (6) months at any WSDC event worldwide.
Petitions To Move Down
All petitions to "Dance Down" must be submitted directly to Chief Judge Tracy Wang at twang.work@gmail.com by Saturday, September 12th by 6:00 PM CST. A separate petition audition may be required by the Head Judge.
ALL YOU-Nicorn J&J Guidelines
Prelims run as a Hi-Lo Jack & Jill with Newcomer, Novice, or Intermediate dancers paired with Intermediate or Advanced dancers (judged as a couple). Finalists draw a Champ/Allstar Pro in Finals! Pros go straight to finals. Wear unicorn-themed attire!
Pro-Am Routine Rules
1. Amateurs must qualify per WSDC rules.
2. Professionals may dance with unlimited Amateurs.
3. Routine length: 2 to 3 minutes.
4. No props allowed.
5. Lifts and aerials are allowed but not required.
6. Partnership contact established within first 32 beats and maintained except for short breakaways (8 beats or less).
